The Story Continues!

ok, I have created yet ANOTHER new blog, and this time I signed in and out a few times to make sure it would let me back in!  So if it won't let me back in after I write this I will be really upset!  LOL

There is NOTHING on this new blog yet other than a traffic tracker.  I still have to disign it how I want, and post the first blog post, but thats not gona happen tonight because it is late and I am sleepy.  Hopefully I will have some time to work on it tomorrow though!  :)

I Am A Little Annoyed!

I am a few posts behind in my blogging, so I decided to update tonight.  I signed onto the blog, and started to upload the pictures for the first post, when it imformed me that I am out of picture space.  I knew this couldn't be right because I don't even have 300 posts on here yet, and my other blogger accounts had SEVERAL blogs on them, many with well over 500 posts before I reached the limit for free picture storage. 

So I looked into it, and it turns out that they have moved the picture storage space around to cover many google services.  Picassa web albums which I have to use to put pictures on the blog only gets 1 GB of space!  I get tons more free space, but it is in places that do me absolutely no good!  If I delete pictures from the web albums then they are automattically deleated from my blog, and if I want more space I have to pay for it per month which I AM NOT GONA DO! 

So I am left with the option of either finding a picture sharing site that gives me html codes, OR I move my blog again. 

I have also thought about buying a printer and turning my blog into a book.  Then I could just delete the old posts and create more space that way. 

I'm not sure what I'm gona do yet.  (sigh)

Date Night!

Tonight I went on a date with Michael, and I am so glad that I did because although I talk to him nearly every day, I haven't actually seen him since Halloween.  So It was really nice to get to see him tonight! 

First we went to dinner at Red Robbin which is one of my favorite places to eat, and as always I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich off of the kids menu.  :) 

Then we went over to the movie theater accross the street, and watched Breaking Dawn Part 2.  It was just as good the second time..... well.....maybe even a little better because this time I was watching it with a boy.  ha ha

After the movie he drove me home, and ofcorse he walked me to the door!  :) 

I really hope that I get to see him again sometime soon!!!!!  :) 

Yes...I Am Infact A Nerd.....And I Am Perfectly Okay With That!

Last night I went to the pree screening of Breaking Dawn Part 2.

Once we got there we showed them our tickets, and then we got to wait in a special line for a couple of minutes.  I had just gotten back from getting my popcorn and cool new Twilight cup when they took us back to the theater! 

We hung out in the theater for a little while, and then the movie started!  We didn't even have to watch any previews!!!

 

I won't ruin the movie for anyone who hasen't seen it yet, but I will say that IT WAS AWESOME!!!  There was a part where I almost cried, and a part where I almost had a heart attack  There were some funny parts too.  :)  .  I really think that it might be my favorite of the five movies in the series! In some ways I kinda even like it more than the book, and thats saying A LOT because I LOVE THE BOOK!!!   Infact I loved it so much that I am going to see it again tomorrow night!!!  :) 

Sweet Little Prayers!

I had just put Kyle to bed last night, and had gone back into the front of the house to turn off lights and make sure doors were locked, when I heard Kyle talking.  I knew that he pretty much felt like crap, and that he could hardly talk, so I hurried back to his room to see what he needed. 

I asked him what was wrong, and he said "Oh mom, I was just saying another prayer to ask Heavenly Father to help me feel better because I really need his help!"  He then asked me a question that we have discussed many times.  "Hey mom, Did you know that we can pray wnenever we need help?"

I have never been more proud!  He actually IS LISTENING to me!!!  :) 

This morning he walked into my room, and he sounded SO MUCH BETTER!  The first thing out of his mouth was  "Hey mom!  My prayer worked!!!  I kept my mouth shut about the medicine that had a hand in it too.  :)  He then said.  "I need to go say another prayer to say thankyou!  He then ran off to his room. 

I am so glad that he is actually listening to some of the things that I am trying to teach him.  I honestly didn't think he was.  :)  I guess I must be doing something right.  :)

I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR A YEAR!!!

And I finally have the chance to see it

I paid TWENTY BUCKS so that I could see it hours before all of the people who spend those same hours waiting in line for the official premier!  There are tons of people from my family going, and I have been anxiously counting down the days! 

 

BUT....

 

Now I have a sick little boy....

 

My sister in law is still willing to watch him, but it will all come down to how he is feeling.  I f he is feeling like he is right now then I will still get to go, but if he starts feeling worse, then I will ofcorse be staying home with him because everyone wants their mommy when they are sick! 

 

He just came in and said his throat is feeling a teeny bit better, and his voice is kinda working! 

 

I have about an hour until it will be time to go......keep your fingers crossed for us!  :) 

I HATE IT WHEN THIS HAPPENS!!!

On Tuesday Afternoon when we picked Kyle up from school I noticed that he was talking really quietly.I mean so quietly that I had to have him talk as loud as he couled right in my ear if I wanted to have any hope of hearing him at all!    Iasked him if he was ok, and he said that his throat was just a little scratchy. 

But when we got home, the ONLY thing he was interested in doing was sitting in a chair, and resting, and thats ALL he did until bed bed time! 

At bedtime I noticed that he was starting to get a little warm, so I took his temperature, and he had a slight feaver.  So I gave him some medicine, cooled him off in a cool shower, and put him to bed. 

The next morning  his feaver seamed to be gone, but he was still acting like he just didn't feel good, so I kept him home from school. 

We had a queit day, and Kyle seamed kinda tired, and cranky and I noticed that he wasen't very interested in eating which is NOT like him at all!  At one point he fell asleep, and I was happy about that.  I hoped that maybe he was sleeping off whatever he had.......NOPE!

He woke up at about 9 PM, and he was REALLY HOT!  So I put him in the shower to cool him back down, and went to get the tylonol.  It was then that I realized that I only had half of a dose left, and I knew that with how high his feaver was he was going to need a whole dose.  So I called my mom, and luckilly my little brother who lives with her was willing to go get him some medicine. 

Once he was out of the shower, I was able to give him the second half of his medicine, we got him all dried off, and he went right back to sleep.  I was a little worried about how hot he was, so I stayed up for a few hours just to check on him off and on.  Eventually I was satisified with how much cooler he felt, so I went on and went to sleep. 

My alarm went off at the usual time, and unlike normal, it did not wake Kyle up.  So I headed into his room, and checked on him.  Hewas super hot again, and he had no voice at all.    So I called the school and excused him, and gave him some more medicine before puting him back to bed.  I then called Kimber and explained the situation, and she aranged for another babysitter for her kids today. 

A little later I decided that I needed to take Kyle to the doctor because his symptons were getting more and more like the last time that he has strep throat. Luckilly my grandparents are in town right now, and they were able to take us. 

At the doctor, they said that the strep test came back negetive, but that his symptoms make them think that he may have it, so they are treating him for it just in case. 

 

So now our lives will be filled with these things for the next several days. 

I really hope he feels better soon, because it makes me feel so helpless when my kids get sick.  I hate the ract that I have to wait for things to run their course, and that I can't just make them better instantly! 

 

Vetren's Day!

Since this past Monday was a day off from school we decided that we wanted to play at the park.  Unfortnuately the park RIGHT BY OUR HOUSE currently looks like this. 

 

Can someone please tell me how this makes sense???  We had a WHOLE SUMMER where noone EVER played outside, and they could have been working on this place instead of needlessly tearing up streets!  But instead they chose to wait until it was cool enough to play, and then start working on it.  It will be closed for atleast two months, and I am not very happy about it!  Can you tell?  LOL

ANYWAY..... :)

I was feeling a little too lazy to walk all the way to "the far park"  so we went to the rentntion baisin behind my mom's house instead.  We didn't stay very long, but the kids had lots of fun! 

And ofcorse I want to say THANKYOU to all of the Vetrens who risk their lives every day to protect us! 

It's Party Time!

Yesterday we had a party to celebrate Kyle and Kenzie's birthdays! They had been waiting very patiently ALL DAY and they were SO EXCITED when it was FINALLY TIME for the party to start!

We had no idea that the cake was going to be so big, so my mom had made some extra cupcakes too!

As soon as we got there, Kyle immediately ran for the back yard to wait for his guests!  Hesat right there and did not move until the party started.  :)

Kenzie on the other hand, had to be chased down and asked to stand still for a picture before the party.  :)

The wind decided to start blowing right when it was time to blow out the candles, but we eventually got them lit, and the kids got to blow out their birthday candles.  :)

THEN IT WAS TIME FOR PRESENTS!!!

It was FREEZING COLD, but we had icecream anyway!  :)  Here are Kenzie and Hannah.  They don't get to see eachother very often but they really are best friends, and it's amazing how alike they are!  :)

After the party when most of the family had gone home, the kids decided to play What Time Is It Mr. Fox.  They really didn't care how cold it was outside!

We really did have a lot of fun!  And I want to say THANKYOU to everyone who came to help us celebrate!!!
